Short Road Pizza was born during the 2020 lockdown as a passion project by me and my wife Kate, newcomers to Leytonstone neighbourhood. Starting with a pizza oven to lift our spirits, we turned my Neapolitan roots and love for perfect dough into a fortnightly takeaway joint on Short Road.

What began with homemade flyers offering contact-free pizza for food bank donations quickly grew into pop-ups at local delis and wine bars, winning over the neighbourhood with our delicious, community-driven creations.

Currently heading up the kitchen at the Three Colts Tavern in Bethnal Green, London.
